About Us
Hello, welcome to My Smart Kitchen, a small food unit business based in the Enterprise Centre, Knutton, Newcastle-under-Lyme. Here, we make a variety of quality home-cooked foods from scratch.
My name's Elaine and I grew up in a Chinese takeaway and have been on the fringes of the food industry for many years. Today, I am a one person cooking in a compact kitchen unit measuring 11 meters x 3 meters. Home-cooked dishes using only locally sourced quality ingredients and proud to support British food producers.
By avoiding being on the High Street and working solo, overheads of the business are kept to a minimum. Furthermore, the advent of induction cooking means the high heat needed for the carbon steel wok "wok hei" is easily achieved whilst being energy efficient.
All these savings mean we are able to produce good quality food at such competitive prices, unlike other food outlets.
We do not use food delivery Apps, food is delivered from the kitchen straight to your door ready to enjoy.
